Laura Steinhöfel

Marshmellow-Mantra (7-11J)

Let's work on a piece!

We dance, fight and transform. There is a big suitcase full of costumes and music. Our journey will lead us to different countries, worlds and galaxies. Our imagination will not be limited. On stage we can claim everything: forest, grim underworld and cloud castles. We will explore Peer Gynt's adventures and stage his journeys. Through theatre improvisation and dance we will playfully approach this Norwegian epos. Every child can choose a role from the play. We listen to Edvard Grieg's opera and transform into trolls, devils and kings. You choose if you would like to be an animal or a dancer, an elf or human. On the third day we will make masks and parts of the set for Henrik Ibsen's play. At the end of the workshop we will show the piece to parents and friends.
