The evening box offices open one hour before the start of the performance at the respective venues.
Students, apprentices, recruits as well as conscientious objectors performing community service (under the age of 27) and people over 60
have the possibility to purchase reduced price performance tickets (approx. –15 %) at the box offices, online and via phone. When attending the performance, the respective proof of entitlement must be presented together with the ticket at the entrance. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively or at the evening box office, or for events in co-operation with Johann Strauss 2025 Vienna.
Performances in cooperation with Johann Strauss 2025 Vienna
For performances organised in cooperation with Johann Strauss 2025 Vienna, the discount concept of our cooperation partner applies. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a discount for people aged 60 and over at these events. All persons under the age of 30 receive a 30 % discount on the standard price at the box office, online and via phone. Proof of age must be presented at the entrance of the venue.
All workshop and research participants
receive a 10 % discount on performance tickets (excluding those in cooperation with Johann Strauss 2025 Vienna), the ImPulsTanz Soçial Weekender, and the ImPulsTanz Country Retreats at the box offices, online, and via phone. With the workshop pass, only one discounted ticket per production can be claimed. The workshop pass must be shown at the entrance. The discount is not retroactive or valid at evening box offices and cannot be combined with other discounts (e.g., DER STANDARD subscription card, Ö1 Club card, AK AktivKarte). In addition, ImPulsTanz workshop and research participants enjoy free entry and fast lane access at the ImPulsTanz Festival Lounge in the Burgtheater vestibule on all evenings.
Wheelchair users / accompanying person
receive a 65 % discount on wheelchair spaces for themselves and one accompanying person after making an advance reservation by phone via +43.1. 235 00 22 or by e-mail: ticketservice@impulstanz.com (no later than three days before the performance). The discount cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.
Holders of a disability pass
People with a degree of disability of 50 % or more will receive a 65 % discount when purchasing tickets at the ImPulsTanz box office upon presentation of their disability pass. Alternatively, the desired tickets can also be reserved by e-mail with a scan of the disability pass: ticketservice@impulstanz.com. A discount for an accompanying person can only be granted if this person is listed on the pass. The discount cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions. When attending the performance, the respective proof of entitlement must be presented together with the ticket at the entrance.
Holders of the AK AktivKarte, Ö1 Club Card , Ö1 Intro Card or DER STANDARD Subscribers Card
receive a 10 % discount on the respective price category for up to two persons per production (only available at the box office upon presentation of the membership card; Ö1 discount also available online in the ticket shopping basket, after selection of seats). For productions with several performance dates, the discount only applies to one single performance date. Only one of the three discounts can be applied per person. A combination with other promotions (e.g. Early Bird Special) or discounts is not possible. The AK AktivKarte discount cannot be combined with reduced tickets (e.g. persons over 60, students, etc.).
Raiffeisenbank account holders
from Vienna or Lower Austria receive a 10 % discount on the respective price category per production for up to two people at the box office, via phone and online (the discount is only visible once your bookings are summarised and put into the cart). The Raiffeisenbank card must be presented at the entrance.
[8:tension] Abo – THE CONTEMPORARY SUBSCRIPTION
Available again from June:
Take Three: 20 % discount when jointly booking three [8:tension] productions of your choice.
Take Six: 30 % discount when jointly booking six [8:tension] productions of your choice.
Take Them All: 40 % discount when jointly booking all [8:tension] productions.
As soon as you have selected several [8: tension] productions, the subscription and therefore the reductions will be formed automatically in your shopping cart/basket. Please note that it is mandatory for the subscription that you book all the [8: tension] tickets in one purchase.
Subscription cannot be combined with other discounts (e.g. DER STANDARD Subscribers Card, Ö1 Club-Karte, AK AktivKarte).
Hunger auf Kunst und Kultur
with support of the Innovationsfonds by Licht ins Dunkel, ImPulsTanz 2025 is providing a limited number of performance tickets via the initiative Hunger for Art and Culture. Depending on availability, Kulturpass holders will receive one ticket for a maximum of three different events. These reservations will be available on 6 July 2025 between 14:00 and 19:00 at the ImPulsTanz Ticket Office in MuseumsQuartier 1070 Vienna and from 7 July 2025 between 11:45 and 19:00, both via email to ticketservice@impulstanz.com and in person at the ImPulsTanz Ticket Office at MuseumsQuartier upon presentation of a valid Kulturpass and photo ID – as long as the ticket contingent lasts. The Kulturpass is not valid for special events such as closed events. In case of availability, it is also possible to receive one ticket per person for a maximum of three additional events at the ImPulsTanz evening box offices. Tickets cannot be passed on to other persons.
Please note that reductions and discounts cannot be applied retroactively or at the evening box office.
If you purchase tickets online or by telephone, you can generally choose between five options to receive your tickets:
1) Print@Home
If you have selected ‘Print@Home’ as your delivery method, you will receive an email with your tickets within 15 minutes of your purchase. If in doubt, please also check your spam folder.
2) Mobile Ticket
If you open the Print@Home link on a smartphone, you can load your ticket(s) into a wallet on your smartphone. On iPhones, a wallet is installed by default – on Android, a variety of free apps such as ‘Passwallet’ or ‘Pass2u’ are available for this purpose.
3) Postal delivery
Your ordered tickets will be sent to you by post to the address you provided when placing your order. The following postage charges apply per purchase: domestic and Europe 4 euro. Tickets can be sent up to a maximum of eight days before the first performance booked.
4) Pick-up at the day box offices
Pickup of your booked tickets at the ImPulsTanz day box offices is free of charge; please have your booking code ready.
5) Pick-up at the evening box office
For the provision of your tickets at the evening box office of the first booked performance, we charge a flat fee of €2 per transaction. Please have your booking code ready for pick-up. Our box offices open one hour before the start of the performance at the respective venue. We recommend that you collect your tickets in good time before the start of the performance, as admission is generally no longer possible once the performance has started.
