While materiality of the body and the flesh centres in Doris' piece more than naked, the piece Boom Bodies is about the energy of the body and the flesh.
In this workshop Doris explores a dance technique dedicated to the opening. It fathoms the limits of energy dumping and craves for using energy to move the surrounding and the outer world. Hence it is an energy dumping, which perceives the body as the epicentre of action and change. Body and space flushed by techno sound, deploying energy and enhancing an understanding of the complex present as a moving body. The vibration and activation of the own body leads to the vibration and activation of space. We will body the space, boom tchak! The workshop continues to move deeper into a dance for which the movement becomes more essential than its form.
