KOFFI KÔKÔ (FR/BJ) & FLOROS FLORIDIS (DE/GR)
They are both undeniable greats in their respective fields: one in dance, the other in music. When they come together before an audience to surprise each other artistically, then it’s bound to be an unequalled event. Koffi Kôkô, the renowned African choreographer and voodoo priest from Benin, and Floros Floridis, free jazz musician from Greece, are both rebels: one against colonialism, the other against military dictatorship. These men with a history present an intense, at times lighthearted, but mostly pensive stage duet in which sounds as well as movements startle in alarm or fan out unrestrainedly.
