Gaining tools for self massage – to release stress and feel relaxed and balanced.
Participants will be guided through self-massage techniques and some stretches to promote the natural flow of energy in the body. Influenced by Japanese Shiatsu massage, using fingers and palms to contact the meridians (energy pathways in the body), where stress can be felt, to encourage greater rejuvenation and relaxation. As we experience isolation and physical distancing, our natural need to be touched for healing is even greater. This class promotes natural healing through self-touch to find a more calming sense of balance.
