AUDITIONS Every summer quite some companies take the opportunity of the international character of the festival to cast dancers and performers. EDUCATION In order to provide a possibility for looking into the subject of contemporary dance and your artistic skills more intensively, to research on new forms and to focus on your own work ImPulsTanz has launched some deepening further training projects: Biblioteca do Corpo ®, ATLAS – Creating Dance Trails and a Teacher Training, taking place around the festival. SYMPOSIA Besides the practical education programmes ImPulsTanz also invites to diverse theoretical talks and symposia, such as the IDOCDE symposium. MORE
RESIDENCIES Each year ImPulsTanz is inviting emerging as well as well established artists to take use of its studios and work, research, write and create in the cosy summer shade of the buzzing festival atmosphere. The TURBO residency offers, in addition to that, also personal coaching for local newcomers. MORE
SCHOLARSHIPS Not only is ImPulsTanz an international festival taking place in Vienna, but also is it very well connected with numerous international institutions and organisations through networks or EU-projetcs. The danceWEB scholarship programme is one of the resulting projects which offers scholarships to more than 60 dancers and emerging choreographers from around 40 countries each year. The scholarship allows access to all Workshops & Research Projects and performances and provides the artists with mentoring through an artistic coach. MORE
