Heike Wrede has a longterm collaboration with the Authentic Movement Institute in Berkeley, USA, and the ESAM (European Society for Authentic Movement) as a performer and teacher. Since 1998 she has been teaching Authentic Movement in Germany, since 1996 dance at the DanceVision Institute in Germany and the US.
Her performances include solo works such as „Fragile“, numerous collaborations with artists such as Karl Frost, Kerstin Kussmaul, Ricardo Morrison, Kurt Koegel, Caroline Waters a.o., and the BodyCartography Project. Her dance, choreography and teaching is inspired strongly by her curiosity to explore unique and personal movement materials in an artistic way.
