Elisabetta Violante was born in the south of Italy in 1990. She started her Ballet and Contemporary Dance studies in Italy at the age of 10. She took part in many workshops and masterclasses in Italy and Europe. She has worked with Ismael Ivo since 2010 as soloist dancer and since 2011 she has been his choreographic assistant for the ImPulsTanz International Dance Festival and for several productions in Italy, Germany, Austria and Brazil. Since 2013, Elisabetta was by the side of Ismael Ivo as choreographic assistant and soloist dancer for the educational project Biblioteca do Corpo®. Within this project she performed No Sacre (2013), Das Tripas...Coracao (2015), BLACK/OUT (2016), OXYGEN (2017). Since 2018, Elisabetta has been responsible for the staging of Ismael Ivo's repertoire for the company Balè da Cidade de São Paulo directed by Ismael Ivo. She also worked with Fernando Suels Mendoza (Tanz Theater Wuppertal Pina Bausch), Giorgia Maddamma (Tanz Theater Wuppertal Pina Bausch), Chloe Cignell (Australien), Joaquin C. Parreno (Spanien), and others. Elisabetta has a degree in Sports Science and is actually working in a physiotherapy studio. She is also teaching Contemporary Dance in Italy.
