Stefanie Wenner has a PhD in philosophy. Since 2014 she has been working under the label apparatus on better representations of reality with the means of theatre. Previously, she was engaged at HAU and the Impulse theatre festival, among others. She has been a professor of applied theatre studies and production dramaturgy at the HfBK Dresden since 2015. In January 2017, she initiated the international conference Matter: States of Agency.
