Every class of this series has a very unique flavour, and by the nature of its score - which will be introduced in class - deals with the unpredictability of sharing and working together.? The 5 participating teachers - Anne Garrigues, Sabina Holzer, Kira Kirsch, Kerstin Kussmaul and Simon Wehrli all come from very different backgrounds: Profound dance technique diving through shapes meets somatic approaches as body-mind centering and experimental anatomy fuelled with rocking yoga principles, extended with compositional scores, attended with playful poetry always. Together we are negotiating 6 essential topics in practice of what contemporary dance training could be. ?In this co-taught environment you are invited for an adventurous ride - transformations, shifts, development and: the unpredictable! Maybe sometimes spontaneously rough around the edges. While working, constructing, engaging together you will for sure meet your personal threads of why you dance and what are your desires and needs.? We look forward to share these investigations!
This format was developed in the LEAP teaching residencies and applied at the professional morning trainings at the Tanzhaus Zürich and Le Pacifique | CDC Grenoble in 2014.
