Bodywork maintenance for dancers, tools for practioners From his background in cranial-sacral therapy, soft chiropractics, polarity, deep tissue massage, martial arts, release work, and esoteric bodywork practices Alito Alessi has developed bodywork for dance. „I have taught bodywork always in conjunction with my dance and improvisation teaching.“ We will use breath and movement as a physical awareness training to focus and ground us for hands on approach. We will learn techniques for alignment of the pelvis, shoulders, neck and spine, including cranial-sacral therapy. We will work towards an understanding of strength, stretch, and muscular release. written materials will support remembering the work.
