In this workshop, we are fusing feminine Street Jazz Moves with flowing, cool and challenging Floorwork Moves in Heels. A strong focus is on the ability to move and perform in high Heels and to expand the movement repertory. This workshop is aimed at all those who would like to incorporate their femininity into dance and accept the challenge in high Heels.
Wearing high shoes changes your appearance, your style, your posture and your attitude. Finding the right balance in heels requires training and knowledge about centre of the body as well as the proper positioning of the legs.
Learn how to consciously engage your movements in Heels, flirt with your own dance moves. Content of the workshop includes: techniques of basic steps in connection with arm variations (coordination), touches, Body Waves, Leg Waves, Headrolls, Hairflips, Hip Moves, rolls and poses.
Each unit combines the learned elements in a Street Jazz choreography in high Heels. Men are also welcome!
Please bring: High Heels (Character Shoes, Pumps, Stilettos, Boots) and knee pads, long shirt is optional.
