If you want to know what the dark side of “Dancing Stars” looks like, you have come to the right place. Christian Rizzo has taken ballroom dancing out of its context, the glittery lustre of the competition, and transplanted it to a mysterious, dark twilight world. There, spotlights appear to be waiting in a monolithic, resounding showcase that shines brightly in shocking-yellow and cold-white, and two indoor plants act as inconspicuously as possible. Not so Julie Guibert and Kerem Gelebek – a couple that sets out into a storm of virtuoso dissections of dance. Timing is everything and time is nothing in this unfathomably hypnotic “perfection”.
