The dancers of tomorrow show how they can get things moving even today. They are still students at Konservatorium Wien University, but their performances are absolutely professional. Such as, for example, the classic Set and Reset by Trisha Brown, one of the greats of postmodern dance since the 1960s, in an adaptation by Shelley Senter. They also appear in Liz King’s and Catherine Guerin’s Schwanensee Remixed in a new staging by Esther Balfe. And they are completely in their element in Doris Uhlich’s hot Energetic Bodies. A cool, poetic, phat evening.
