"The breast piece (praticable)" / "Ohne Worte" (praticable), excerpt Alice Chauchat’s “The breast piece (praticable)” starts with a minimalist study of the movements of the female breast. First, it is only Chauchat’s breath, then the breast muscles, and finally the whole rib cage which makes her breasts dance to the music of French composer Ernest Chausson. These movements radiate to the rest of the body, so that the young French dancer and choreographer is carried through the room by the dancing of her breasts. She goes through numerous poses in the process, some of which are reminiscent of a marble sculpture, others of Leni Riefenstahl’s staging of bodies. Furthermore, an extract from Isabelle Schad’s piece “Ohne Worte (praticable)” is shown.
