"Feeler"
Akemi Takeya transforms her life between Japan and Vienna into a concentrated journey through the white land of a light-flooded (Bruno Pocheron) stage gusting with the fading thunder of electronic sound (Heinz Ditsch). That is the lonely embodiment of a multiple existence. In repeated attempts she balances a “feeler” in order to extend the range of her sensitivity; and when she rolls out the dance floor with her head she is a creature creating its own living space.
"FEELER is based on the connection between ‘embryonal breathing technique’ and an ability to perceive which has become atrophied because of civilisation; but human feelers (like those of insects) can be strengthened.” (Akemi Takeya)
