We are confident that this way of commemorating his life, his dance and the wonderful experiences he engaged his audiences in would have pleased Ismael Ivo the most: some of the countless artists he held in high regard and who were presented and promoted in the scope of the ImPulsTanz Festival, that was co-founded by him, coming together on stage to celebrate, in his name, the art that meant so much to him. That is exactly what is going to happen on this evening. In Vienna, where many of his fans have admired him for almost forty years as spectators, artistic partners and/or students attending his classes. With his knowledge, his talent and his charisma, Ismael Ivo helped dance develop into what it is today: an art that has become an indispensable part of contemporary culture.
