When Even The

When Even The, Leonard Cohen’s intriguing poem of unfinished sentences, inspired Canadian artist Clara Furey to create a magically meditative solo performance which explores the field of energy between her vibrating body and an inanimate presence - in this case a sculpture chosen from the mumok’s permanent collection. In the process, she places a mirror before our perishable bodies, offering us different perceptions and incarnations of decomposition. A myriad of identities pass through her, visit her, inhabit her, achieving a state which oscillates between tension and appeasement.
