Anatomie

The audience is made up of sighted, blind and visually impaired people who are taking their seats. The piece can begin. Or rather, the dance through one’s own body in a choreography of imagination. Anatomie is Anne Juren’s contribution to The Humane Body project, and she takes dance to a new level while she’s at it. The artist gets to the heart of what was already the subject of her 2015 piece The Point: in her choreographic sessions, a voice guides the audience through and deep inside the lying body, shifting the focus away from watching, and stimulating the imagination. For Anatomie Vladimir Miller creates a space which is tangible and challenges the imagination – using soft mats, objects, sounds and plays of light.
