Born in Italy, Gabriella Cimino has a rich background in contemporary dance, ballet, yoga, acrobatics and sports at the University Sports Institute in Vienna. She has been a certified Pilates instructor since 1998, after training in New York with Romana Kryzanowska. In 2003 she opened the Pilates Center Vienna and received certification as a Pilates instructor trainer. Since 2005 she has been a teacher at ImPulsTanz and since 2009 she has been teaching at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna, MUK Music and Art. In 2011 she was hired by Cirque du Soleil as a trainer for the production Corteo for the Austria- Spain- Switzerland tour. In 2016 she was Pilates trainer for the first Austrian Acrobatic Convention in Hollenstein. In March 2017 she was again part of the Cirque du Soleil coaching team for the production Amaluna in Vienna and in Rome. In 2023 she worked for Cirque du Soleil for the show Kurious in Rome and Milan and for the production Luzia in Vienna.
