Manuela Bianca Deac is a contemporary dancer and performer from Romania. She has been involved in movement since childhood and deepened her knowledge through various workshops and research projects. She studied journalism in Romania and worked with local artists in theatre and film projects during her studies. Besides dance and performance, she attended workshops in Noh theatre and Butoh dance. She has been living in Vienna since 2014 and combines dance with visual media and also enjoys working with masks. She has worked in numerous projects by Doris Uhlich, Mia Haugland Habib and in films by Harald Hund and Norbert Pfaffenbichler. She is part of the collective KLAUS, which deals with dance in public space.
