Jule Flierl is a dance and voice artist, whose methods of inhabiting and being inhabited work through ambiguous affinities with grotesque and outdated forms, objects and practices. In her performances, she creates trans-temporal relationships with artists such as Valeska Gert, Yoko Ono or Katalin Ladik. She develops movement and voice choreographies to unsettle the interplay of seeing and hearing. Since 2020 she collaborates in different formats with with ChoreoVocalist Irena Z. Tomažin and choreographer Antonia Baehr. As dancer she worked a. o. with Meg Stuart, Tino Sehgal, Martin Nachbar, Gintersdorfer/Klassen and Sergiu Matis. Jule graduated from SEAD-Salzburg, holds an MA in choreography at EXERCE Montpellier and is a certified teacher of the somatic voice method Lichtenberger Methode.
