Janet Panetta received her training with Antony Tudor, Margaret Craske and Alfredo Corvino and has danced with American Ballet Theatre and The Metropolitan Opera Ballet. She went on to perform in modern, post modern and performance art works. She has trained dancers of many major American companies, such as New York City Ballet, Paul Taylor Dance Company, Merce Cunningham Dance Company, etc., and has been a guest teacher for many European companies, such as ROSAS, Pina Bausch/Tanztheater Wuppertal, Compagnie Mathilde Monnier, Ballet Preljocaj and in the schools P.A.R.T.S., The New School, CCN Montpellier a.o.
