PROGRAMME
The course combines somatic and Qigong exercises, focusing on breathing techniques, with a strong focus on breathing techniques that position the diaphragm as the focal point of movement and sensation. The use of basic movement principles, such as the relationships between agonist and antagonist, “in” and “out”, “invitation“ as well as “letting go”, help participants to focus on the space between body and mind. The aim is to shift awareness of movement from the skin to the osteoarticular, fascial, and visceral levels, and back again. This awareness is developed through Contact Improvisation tasks, expanding movement and expression to various levels of sensation, including emotional ones.
