Tandem of Sound & Movement

The main focus of this workshop is to examine how expressing simultaneously within multiple disciplines can look like – not to present it as something new, but rather to showcase the processes and benefits this approach has to offer. Expression and perception are around daily and fluidly through multiple sensory layers.

Music production and dance are combined – a tandem of sound and movement in both a generative and performative sense. Boundaries of one discipline blur into the other as movement reacts to sound, and sound to movement. A conversation beyond the often-imposed confines of creative expression; a dialogue of reciprocal creative echo, creating an open space for moving, listening and flowing.
