Chance to Dance: House Dance

The CAPE 10 summer dance camp, Chance to Dance, offers a unique opportunity for children from disadvantaged schools to discover and develop their artistic abilities. Through ImPulsTanz workshops, creative and physical activities as well as social and emotional development, kids can build self-confidence and form new friendships. Each week concludes with a final showing. Over the course of two weeks, 80 socially disadvantaged children from Chance to Dance will be learning House Dance with Marie Kaae, Afro Fusion with Kafeela Ade as well as HipHop with Jermaine Brown and Krumping with Jr Maddripp in cooperation with ImPulsTanz. On 25 July and 1 August, they will perform what they have learned, together with lots of music and a varied accompanying programme
