Isabel incorporates ideas from instant composition from her past workshop Communal EPIC Fiction and spatio-temporal strategies, working with various temporalities and the concept of the “pluriverse” – a multitude of autonomous, yet simultaneously interconnected worlds. Aimed at artists, dancers, and choreographers currently developing a performance work, participants are asked to come prepared with an excerpt from their work-in-progress, which will be shared with others in a guided structure of time and space.

While the first day of the workshop is focusing on getting to know the group and everybody’s way of working and current interests, questions, and topics as well as consider ways to “install” one’s performance in a shared space. The second workshop day will conclude with showings, sharing, and feedback in a collective space.

Artists, dancers and choreographers with a broad range of approaches to performance are encouraged to join.
