In his repertory workshop José is proposing movement material that is drawn from his work Arctic, which is inspired by the film Lovers of the Arctic Circle (1998). This evocative choreography delves into a contemporary interpretation of Inuit traditions, weaving themes of love, death, destiny, nature, and coincidence into a powerful group piece. In this workshop participants are diving into the ideas behind the creation of the piece and learn original choreography. Furthermore, participants are developing new movement material inspired by its core concepts. This is a unique opportunity to explore the raw beauty and emotional depth of Arctic while connecting with its themes of survival, resilience, and the human search for love in extreme conditions.

For this workshop participants are asked to bring knee pads and a long skirt to be able to explore movement textures and layers with the piece of clothing.
