Participants experience an intensive ballet class based on the methods developed by Tony Rizzi together with William Forsythe and other members of the Ballett Frankfurt over 20 years. The focus is on describing space, mastering tasks and emphasising philosophy, incorporating Laban’s ideas in addition to learning powerful, expansive and quicker movements. Finally, Forsythe’s choreography Limb’s Theorem will be rehearsed, which is inspired by the ideas of Daniel Libeskind’s deconstructivist architecture.
The workshop requires ballet shoes.
