Improvisation is understood here as an individual expression from the perspective of both movement and sound. Participants are encouraged by Emily and Kenji, both starting from their different individual practice as a musician or dancer, to understand the processes of improvisation, to transform musical ideas into dance creations and to experiment with their creative potential. The focus is on trusting the spontaneity of the moment and surrendering to the creative flow, whether through movement or sound.

The tasks may vary from incredibly simple to highly confusing – all targeted at enjoying creative research or simply taking pleasure in being in the here and now.
