Jose Agudo’s piece A Thousand Shepherds, which deals with the idea of global migration in a scenic way, serves as the basis for this workshop. The 30-minute piece with eight dancers explores the themes of identity and conflict as a pilgrimage. Jose was inspired by a two-month sabbatical in an Indian ashram and teaches the resulting movement material in this repertory workshop.
