In this workshop we would like to invite the participants to explore the body and movement through self-practices, which are inspired from ancient and modern self-awareness practices, techniques, and rituals. We would like to share our personal ways of approaching dance, visit these practices and personal movement histories and together create a floating ground of possibilities.
A space for an intimate autonomous body within a group and a group that welcomes the body in its individuality. The workshop will demand physical on-going tries and openness to resolve any kind of situations that will happen in the moment. We will invite the difficult and fragile processes towards balance.
We are all here to move. We move here and there. Here moves us as we move the here. In our work we will integrate silence and stillness, laughter, and durational practices – what is the experience of the body if not endurance? “What else? Compassion.” (Rumi)
We will make room for discussions as we need.
