Beginner

Music, movement and spatial body coordination are explored in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Participants learn to use their body weight consciously and in connection with gravity through the principle of alignment. Combined with simple directional elements, this opens up a pathway to greater risk-taking in movement – which in turn has a positive effect on individual dynamics. Breath, musicality and a mindful experience of movement are at the core of the practice. The aim is to dance freely, joyfully and with growing confidence in one’s own body – regardless of prior experience.

Risa’s approach combines solid technical foundations with the ability to dance poetically and holistically from the very beginning. Her work with the Limón technique draws on her many years of experience as a dancer, teacher and performer, with particular emphasis on musicality, breath and expression.

Intermediate / Advanced

At the centre of the advanced training is a fully integrated and organised body, moving with freedom, clarity and self-assurance. Building on a deep understanding of alignment, the body is experienced as a dynamic entity – in direct relationship with gravity, momentum and space. Direction, breath, musicality and dynamics are used with precision to shape movement that is powerful, articulate and bold. Focus and intention – emerging from an internal experience – foster a strong stage presence and deepen the connection between performer, space and audience.

Within this context, Risa offers not only technical refinement but also artistic depth. Her in-depth engagement with the Limón technique enables movement to become a vibrant expression of emotion, musicality and presence.
