Dao Yin practices develop the elasticated quality of the connective tissues to develop a more resilient web throughout the body. Spiral motion and extension open the joints and spaces between the layers of tissue, allowing more efficient energy production on a cellular level. Energetic information travels more efficiently when the paths remain open, allowing pathogenic qi to exit the body.

This workshop will focus on Dao Yin forms that wind and unwind the tissues around the spine and the various connections of fascia and muscles through the torso, arms and legs. To begin this process, the correct alignment of bones and the effective sinking of body mass allows the soft, connective tissues to change through appropriate stress.
