This workshop investigates the gentle art of composition as defined in terms of change: when should something change, what could change, how to change something, how much or how little to change, and can predetermined structures help; in other words how to keep something going in a pleasing and surprising manner. All this explored through several quick-fire exercises involving sound and movement, using techniques and ideas which come primarily from my own work.
Participants are invited to bring in any instruments they might enjoy working with.
