The workshop is aimed at dancers and performers who are interested in duration and length. In extensive improvisations, the studio becomes an experiential space, in which personal, deeply embedded patterns of movement and ideas of dance are given the opportunity to transform, to be arranged or rearranged. Since Doris Uhlich's artistic series Habitat, she has been researching more and more theatre as a kind of living space in which movement qualities and themes are researched over a longer period of time. Doris will share current physical interests with the workshop participants and set focal points for each improvisation. Media artist and DJ Boris Kopeinig will mix the sound live. Choreographer Doris and DJ Boris have been working together since 2014. The common interest in the physical effect of sound has connected the two ever since.
