Playing with objects
In this workshop we will play with objects within a set of fixed rules. Being confronted with various tasks and limitations, will help us to come up with playful and unexpected ideas.
ARTISTBIO: Geumhyung Jeong
Geumhyung Jeong is a South Korea-based artist and choreographer whose practice began in the theatre and extended to video and installation. In her work, Jeong constantly re-negotiate the relationship between the body and the things – she explores the potential of the body, its sensuality and its power to change its surroundings. Her works combine dance and puppetry and bring attention to the technical aspects of theatre. Jeong studied Acting at Hoseo University in Asan, Dance and Performance at the Korean National University of Arts in Seoul and Animation Film at the Korean Academy of Film Arts in Seoul. Jeong's works have been presented at the Kunsthalle Basel, Tate Modern in London, New Museum in New York, Delfina Foundation in London, Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels and many other institutions and festivals.
