Afro Flow – Diaspora Dances
Hiphop, House, Dancehall, Salsa, Samba... dances from different places with different cultural, social, political and historical realities. What do they all have in common? They are all fruits of the African Diaspora. Let's travel together through dances from the USA, Latin America and the Caribbean. Let music enchant you, allow the flow to stream through you and: "connect".

ARTISTBIO: Sofie Douda
I worked at the intervention center against human trafficking and I worked with people with special needs and with Babies and Children.
I was also politically active - for instance squatting houses, rebel clowning or trying to stop deportations.
In Paris, France I trained in contemporary dance technique and performed with different traditional african, urban and latin dance groups.
In Salvador de Bahia I learned about traditional brazilian dances and in Haiti I performed with the National Theater and the major dance companies, like for instance 'Ayikodance'.
My biggest wish is for everyone to be able to live in freedom and solidarity.
