The two charismatic performers Phil Hayes and Simone Aughterlony examine the fragile relationship between talk and action. They do what they say and say what they do – staged as a playful, humorous dialogue, in which sense and sensuality are of equal importance and words trigger movements and vice versa. In front of a pink scenery wall boasting five doors and a painted white cloud, the duo show and narrate (hi)stories of a body that never exists just like that but mostly penetrates into consciousness when it threatens to collapse.
Phil Hayes works as a director, musician and performer, e.g. with Forced Entertainment. Simone Augtherlony was a member of Meg Stuart’s Damaged Goods and has celebrated considerable successes with her own works since 2003.
