Attention, beauty alert! Two Egyptian dancers trained in Cairo, Vienna and New York make up the collective nasa4nasa. Noura Seif Hassanein and Salma Abdel Salam say: “We seek the satisfaction the audience feels when body and space create something that is truly beautiful.” To this end, they put on red leotards à la Merce Cunningham and turn the stage into a squash court. The duo SUASH is the first peak point in a project that started on Instagram in 2016. Since then, the former danceWEBbers have demonstrated their ingenuity and self-confidence in videos and images on that platform – and now – in dance!
