A journey to the self – such as these two women experience – can become a proper internal odyssey. Simone Aughterlony, originally from New Zealand, and Croatian dancer Petra Hraš anec, drift on the waves of tough times. Ropes, canvas, bones, ram horns accompany them on their expedition inspired by Homer’s Odyssey. Those vibrant female bodies may not be sailors after all since desire is an interrogative mode of being. Therefore, the violet light of frenetic dance will split the magnetic field. We will shed the wet clothes, sweeten the sugar with freshly sucked blood. Give, receive, refuse, and depart again...
