What is it about machines that enchants humans and why do robots spark our imagination? To throw light on this allure Austrian choreographer Simon Mayer sets up a futuristic band of metal and cables, and flesh and blood onstage. And so begins a concert of sounds ranging from wild to delicate, triggered by automated and body-powered instruments in a dance between hallucination and joie de vivre. Shamanism meets electronica and piano, living skin encounters remotecontrolled matter, and a naked toe by Clara Frühstück touches the cool key with unforgettable bravura.
The performance is not suitable for an audience younger than 18 years.
