From a poem by Leonard Cohen: “But what do they. / What do they. / When even. / When even the. / Years will. / Death will.” Canadian artist Clara Furey delves into this lyrical work by the pop star from Montreal. Her magically meditative solo establishes a field of tension between her body and a sculpture from the mumok collection. In the process, the highly gifted choreographer, musician and actress immerses herself in the sensory dimensions of psychological states and, from there, brings strong emotions to light that oscillate between melancholy, boundless devotion, anger and resilience.
