He once dreamed he was the son of Steve Paxton and Robert Rauschenberg, Peter Pleyer recounts. Having a pronounced penchant for stories, crocheting and dance improvisation, he devotes himself and his audience to these passions threefold in his solo evening Ponderosa Trilogy. The teacher, dancer, activist, former dramaturg and curator creates a colourful woven carpet from anecdotes, book quotes, situations, dance, queer ideas and AIDS activism, accompanied by music from gay artists. A conscious flirt with reality dressed in an odd costume – “new shamanic actions” included.
