In his “choreographic object for several voices”, David Wampach cleverly plays with the construction and deconstruction of illusions, with the possibilities of an encounter between the dancer and the pianist, and with representations of female characters who transgress the boundaries of what is generally considered “normal”. A piano is made to dance, the classical relationship between dance and music is newly defined and cult films like “Carrie” and “Desperate Living” (by B movie legend John Waters) are restaged. David Wampach has danced for Mathilde Monnier and Christian Rizzo, among others. His own choreographies have been performed in France, Italy and Belgium, for example.
“A piece like a B movie, young and raw.” (Lourent Goumarre, Danser)
