Consumption As A Cause Of Coming Into Being

In the psycho-dramatic chamber play Consumption As A Cause of Coming Into Being, tragedy and comedy are having an disastrous affair. Based on the occurrences of a cannibal act in the German town of Rotenburg in 2001, Alexander Bailey and Roland Rauschmeier go on a journey of no return to the lowlands of male passion and explore the limits of social morality. Madness and civilisation are reconciled by means of meditative homing sessions, deviant sexual practices, and a breeze of humour just like in the sense of the common proverb: “One man’s meat is another man’s poison.”
