To strengthen the continuously growing independent dance and performance scene in Vienna, new rehearsal studios are available for artists in the performing arts field from 20 February 2023: the spacious premises of the former dancearts studios in the 3rd district and the former KulturQuartier in Seestadt. The studios offer sufficient space, also upwards, and professional equipment at a low rent. They are ideal for rehearsals, residencies and the realisation of individual artistic projects.
In an easy and unbureaucratic way via email, a total of six studios between 88 and 330 m2 and three co-working spaces can be rented – the studios for a maximum period of six weeks and the co-working spaces for longer periods. Commercial use (e.g. for workshops or advertising shoots) is excluded. The allocation is on a “first come, first served” basis.
ImPulsTanz is taking over their organisation, with funding from the Cultural Department of the City of Vienna and the District Administration of the 22nd district of Vienna and the friendly support of Wien 3420 aspern Development AG.

The following premises are available for rent:
Cloakrooms with lockable lockers and wet rooms as well as a kitchen incl. refrigerator and cooking facilities are available to all for common use. In addition, there is an approx. 100 m2 large foyer, which can be used jointly and for free. This is equipped with sofas, tables, chairs and Wi-Fi, with natural light (side windows and skylights).
Office projectors, HDMI cables and cable mics are available on request and included in the rent. Further technical equipment has to be brought by yourself.
Showings are possible and welcome. ImPulsTanz does not act as organiser and assumes no liability.
Unfortunately, the premises at Rennweg are not barrier-free accessible. The studios are located on the first floor without elevator.
There will be a final cleaning at the end of each rental period. The premises with shared use will be cleaned regularly. During the rental period, the tenants are responsible for cleaning the studios themselves.

In addition, there is an 80 m2 gallery corridor (with natural light) and an approx. 45 m2 kitchen (equipped with sofas, tables, chairs, Wi-Fi, refrigerators and cooking facilities; with natural light) that can be shared.
Office projectors, HDMI cables and cable mics are available on request and included in the rent. Further technical equipment has to be brought by yourself.

All studios and rooms in Seestadt Studios are barrier-free. Barrier-free toilets and showers are available.
There will be a final cleaning at the end of each rental period. The premises with shared use will be cleaned regularly. During the rental period, the tenants themselves are responsible for cleaning the studios and co-working spaces.
The studios and co-working spaces are available to all people and organisations working in the field of performing arts.

The studios can be rented by persons and associations entitled to deduct input tax for a minimum of one to a maximum of six weeks. Individuals and associations who are not entitled to deduct input tax can rent the studios for a maximum of two weeks at a time. Co-working spaces can also be rented for longer periods if the tenants are entitled to deduct input tax.
Rentals are only possible from Monday to Sunday. The handovers always take place on Mondays at 10:00 in the morning at Rennweg Studios and at 12:00 noon at Seestadt Studios. The studios can be used until 23:59 on Sunday.
A deposit of 50 euro is required for a binding reservation. This will be retained in the event of cancellation. In the event of cancellation from four weeks before the rental date, 50 % of the total rental fee will be retained, in the event of cancellation from two weeks before 75 %, in the event of cancellation from one week before 100 %.
There is no rental for paid events (e.g. workshops) and commercial purposes (e.g. advertising shoots)!
Renting from the beginning of July to mid-August is not possible, as the premises are used by ImPulsTanz.

The studios and co-working spaces are available to all people and organisations active in the field of performing arts.
The principle of “first come, first served” applies to the allocation.
No one will be rejected on the grounds of artistic criteria as long as the project can be assigned to the field of performing arts and comes from the independent scene.
In the event of cancellations or changes, a waiting list will be drawn up according to the above criteria.
