Extra long workshops
Extra long workshops have a duration of 150 minutes and more (Intensive weekend workshops excluded).
Extra charge for more teachers
For workshops taught by two or more teachers, the surcharge is 15 euro. For extra long workshops taught by and two or more teachers, the surcharge is 30 euro.
Reduced fee
The reduced fee applies to students, apprentices, recruits as well as conscientious objectors performing community service born in or after 1997 and dance enthusiasts aged 60 or more (born no later than 1964). The relevant proof must be uploaded online during the booking process, sent by email to workshopoffice@impulstanz.com or presented to the Workshop Office team.
Professional fee
The fee for professionals is exclusively for dancers, choreographers or dance students at an accredited school or dancers in training with a completed dance education as well as active dance teachers, in support of their further education. For recognition as a professional, the Workshop Office team requires clear proof. This can be uploaded during the booking process, sent by email to workshopoffice@impulstanz.com or presented at the Workshop Office at the latest. This proof must not date back more than two years (curriculum vitae with references, certificates and/or engagement contracts as well as programme brochures, links and contracts with dance schools are accepted forms of proof). The professional status is only valid for the respective calendar year. Participants who we cannot recognise as professionals pay the normal fee or the reduced fee, if applicable.
Teaching participants are granted the fee for professionals for all workshops after recognition of their status as a dance teacher. The fee for professionals is exclusively for active dance teachers as support for their further education. For the recognition as an active dance teacher we need a clear proof. This can be uploaded during the booking process, sent by email to workshopoffice@impulstanz.com or presented at the Workshop Office at the latest. As proof we accept programme brochures, links and contracts with dance schools. The documents have to prove a continuous active teaching occupation in the last two years. The professional status is only valid for the respective calendar year. Participants who we can not recognise as active dance teachers pay the normal fee or can make use of another reduced fee if applicable.
Youth fee
The youth fee applies to everyone born 2006 or later (excluding Shake the Break workshops). Proof of age should be uploaded online during the booking process, sent by e-mail to workshopoffice@impulstanz.com or presented to the Workshop Office team.
Discounts with AK AktivKarte & DER STANDARD Abovorteilskarte
DER STANDARD Abovorteilskarte receive a 10 % discount on the first booked workshop. Proof of the respective card must be uploaded during the booking process or sent via email (workshopoffice@impulstanz.com). Only one of the two reductions can be claimed.
Group discounts
Our group discount applies to groups of 10 or more people and is only available upon request at the Workshop Office or via workshopoffice@impulstanz.com.
Single lessons
Single lessons can only be booked in person and on the respective day as long as the workshop is not fully booked. The Workshop Office team will provide information on availability and prices.
Pay what it’s worth to you
The following All Abilities workshops are offered on pay what it’s worth to you: you pay what you can or consider to be fair. The payment is made through the payment link provided via email or in person at the ImPulsTanz Workshop Office at MuseumsQuartier or at Arsenal and for the Shake the Break workshop by Attila Zanin at Dschungel Wien. Please note that our cancellation policy also applies to these workshops.
Hunger auf Kunst und Kultur
ImPulsTanz 2024 is offering workshop places via the Hunger auf Kunst und Kultur initiative, thanks to the support of Innovationsfonds of Licht ins Dunkel. One free workshop can be booked per Kulturpass holder on 22 May 2024 between 15:30 and 19:00 both via email to workshopoffice@impulstanz.com or on site at the Workshop Office. This offer is valid subject to availability. A photo/scan of the valid Kulturpass must be sent by email or presented at the time of booking. The emails will be processed according to the time of receipt. Workshop places reserved and booked via this initiative cannot be transferred to other people. The offer is only valid on the day mentioned above. Cancellations are possible up to 14 days before the start of the workshop. For cancellations after this deadline, a cancellation fee of 50 euro will be charged.
The Shake the Break workshops for children and teenagers take place at Dschungel Wien and address specific age groups.

Online booking with instant bank transfer or credit card
Online booking works best via the schedule and the detailed pages. The workshops can be paid by instant bank transfer or credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Diners Club Card). The advantage of the online payment is the quicker processing of your booking. The online payment is possible until one day prior to the beginning of the workshop via this payment link.
Bank transfer
Furthermore, workshops can be paid by bank transfer. Since bank transfers take a few days, the payment must be made no later than 14 days before the workshop starts. Bank transfers have to be free of charge for the recipient and in euro.

Vouchers
Vouchers can be redeemed online or in person at the Workshop Office. For questions, please contact the Workshop Office team via email (workshopoffice@impulstanz.com) or in person during opening hours.
Cancellations can only be accepted up to 14 days prior to the workshop. Please note that we charge a 50-euro cancellation fee for full cancellation of all workshop bookings. All workshops cancelled after this deadline must be fully paid. If an individual workshop or a research project has to be cancelled by ImPulsTanz, the full amount of the affected workshops or research projects (including cancellation fees) will be refunded – pro rata for workshops and research projects that have already started. Any private expenses already incurred for attending the festival (travel, accommodation costs, etc.) cannot be reimbursed.

If you book a workshop in Week 1 and a workshop in Intensive 1 before 1 June 2024, you will pay:

If you book a workshop in Week 1 that is extra long and a workshop in Week 3 taught by two teachers before 1 June 2024, you will pay:

Workshop fee for the 2nd workshop: € 175,– (Two teachers)
Total amount: € 390,–
