Working title: The most important thing in the universe
Choreographic assistant: Helena Araujo
What am I focused on and what do I want my audience to be focused on?
Am I aware of the aesthetic/monetary value of the elements I work with? Am I able to control this value? Do I have priorities? Are my priorities fixed or are they flexible?
Who am I targeting and what do I want from the ones I target?
Do I entertain, do I inform, do I help or do I teach?
How do I subvert myself, or an object or an idea?
What is the most important thing in the universe?
Topics: focus, value, priorities, action, manipulation, targeting
Activities: writing short poems, composing songs, choreographing duets and trios, working with objects, making statement, subverting
Result: 60 min stage performance for 10 people at the end of the Pro Series Project.
For your application please send a link to a 1-2 minute-long video with 5 separate parts:
1 - choreography / movements
2 - own dramaturgical text (own written text, spoken in the solo)
3 - relation with space
4- voice
5 - quotation/ can be choreographic, musical or text/
Transitions between the 5 parts are not necessary.
This Pro Series results in a Performance on 10th of Augsut at 18:00.
