Bühne der Notwendigkeit Find out about your motivation, trust the support of the group and the ground underneath your feet, formulate your vision and be the gift you’re meant to be. In this Coaching Project participants will be encouraged to see the work with and within the group as a resource and give space for each individual's potential and vision and to preserve and develop our strengths. We will start with our collective process by questioning our motivation. What actually touches and moves us? How deep do we let this emotion sink in? Does it get under the skin and bones, rips into the heart, moves us and becomes an impuls? An impuls demanding us to create and act? In order to incorporate our visions we need a connection with the earth. As a group we will try out and explore different methods of grounding. Starting from bioenergetic exercises, dynamic meditations up to developing own rituals for grounding. We will work intensively on our physical presence, become free of fear, open and trustful and develop the ability to "really be there". The group process will support us to formulate our visions in a spontaneous, improvised and performative setting. The slumbering spark within us will explode into fireworks of possibilities. As for example the possibility to be a lot of things, everything or just nothing. Or the possibility to move yourself, others, something or to simply make a difference. This Coaching Project fosters a friendly, self-/appreciating, accepting attitude towards the "here and now" of performance. Exercising the observing re-envision of what is present and what wants to be recognised, becomes a vast resource for necessary performative expressions, which can by all means be humorous as well. The methods will include: resource-oriented body work, nonviolent communication, open space, happiness research, creative writing, working with voice, meditation, dreams, searching for vision, authentic movement, examination of rituals and trance, work with energy of the selves (voice dialogue), Buffon/clown work, and last but not least: instant composition between manifestation, Stand Up, Dada and social movements. Barbara Kraus Barbara Kraus lives and works as a visual artist in Vienna. She studied at the SNDO in Amsterdam. Constantly on the go, in free fall, writing, in dissociative performance structures, social interventions and various stagings of fictive realities. Her favoured medium in the frame of the infiltration of rigid identity-fortresses, is the humorous exaggeration and understatement. In the meantime she sings with the band as agreed. The most driving and motivating question to her is about the influence of art, and to which extent it has and must have an influence on the shaping of the world. She is supported through the presence of her many alter egos, who are infiltrated into various social settings, as social activists and performative field investigators. Her work roots in dialogue on and cooperation with civil movements. At the moment Barbara Kraus is researching on the foundations and conditions of "a good life for everybody" together with Michaela Moser (co-initiator of the Austrian Conference on Poverty, author of a book on the way out of poverty).
